Introspection Reveals The Beauty Contained in The Storms of Life

Self-evaluation encourages us to reach the very depths of our being in order to evolve into an awakened spiritual state. As a result, the circumstances surrounding our life, and the world in which we reside, can be greatly influenced in a positive manner.

Introspection takes enormous courage, for it causes us to examine and evaluate every aspect of the mortal personality and our existence. Through this process, we become empowered discovering that each individual creates his/her own mortal reality – the Creator’s generous gift of freewill.

Recognizing Our Personal Power

By acknowledging our personality traits, recognizing them as diamonds in the rough, we become more sensitive to how our personalities and the examples we set touch the lives of others. As such, we begin to acknowledge that we are responsible for our actions and futures, instead of blaming external circumstances that have been attracted to our lives.

Too many times, we choose to become victims of external influences. Through awakening to the power within, we regain control of our lives in this moment – the present – for no one can control anyone unless they have been awarded the power to do so. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to choose how their beings will evolve from external life circumstances, regardless whether the situation or experience is perceived to be negative or positive.

Our Soul’s Evolution

Every life experience is vital to our soul evolution, particularly the situations that are labeled as negative.

Negative life circumstances are a gift and offer the most powerful opportunities for spiritual growth and evolution – if a person is willing to embrace the teaching in the lesson, embark on honest self-evaluation, identify the perceived weak areas of their human personality and then work on strengthening those areas. In this way, our internal work on self aids in contributing positive change in the world. Each effort is important.

Without the trials in life, there is no opportunity to improve and evolve further into powerful spiritual beings.

What is True Power?

It is also very important not to misinterpret the word power. True power does not demand control over others through fear and intimidation. This is a gross misuse of power. However, the proper use of power will benefit the individual’s life and the world around us as it manifests beauty through its proper use; such as the power of positive change.

Choosing to become victims of our mortal egos, which create our mortal personalities and illusions, enslaves us through negative thinking. Negativity drains our energy, our life force, and provides the fuel to further manifest more violent storms in the life process.

However, by eliminating the false power contained in negative thinking, the storms quickly pass. It is only then that we can identify the hidden beauty created by the destruction left behind when we recognize the potential positive results waiting to be retrieved from them.

Many times, these storms manifest in order to capture our undivided attention as every storm has the potential to replenish and strengthen the mortal being. Therefore, we are able to rebuild greater spiritual foundations through re-discovering our inner strength and inner source – a re-connection to the Supreme Being – if we are able to identify the purpose behind the destruction and its offering. The offering is the enormous opportunity to rebuild and strengthen our awareness of our inner spirit. As well, it is crucial not to merely patch the damaged result, for you will then be ill prepared to withstand the next storm.

Taking responsibility for our lives empowers us to diminish the victim within. As such, if we view the violent storms in our lives as opportunities to strengthen ourselves while giving daily thanks to the Supreme Being for the opportunity to evolve, we are better able to recognize the invaluable worth of self-examination… After all, sometimes we need to demolish a portion of an existing foundation that has weakened in order to replace it with pillars of strength.
