Astrology is the diagnostic tool of body, mind and spirit, and the ally of the soul.
This age-old study of some 4,000 years is the most accurate tool available to study the purpose of life on earth.
The stars and the planets have been plotted since the beginning of time and their positioning were signals to the ancients for when to begin certain functions.
Over the years, astrology developed into an understanding of human psychology, as well as an event-oriented messenger of past, present and future.
Creating Our Destiny – The Eyes of Astrology
It is said that we create our destiny through our character so that by coming to know ourselves we can navigate our fate.
Every person born is different, even twins can have distinctly different birth maps. The birth date, geographical place and as exact as possible birth time fix in space the planetary placements and horizon lines that represent who you are, where you have come from and where you hope to go.
The 360º circle represents the ecliptic, or scribing of the Earth’s path as it orbits around the Sun, a complete cycle, or year, and the whole person.
This circle is broken down into 12 pie-piece shapes. Each is given zodiacal names corresponding to the seasonal phenomena as we experience it in nature, and human nature throughout the year.
The Spring Equinox, for example, starts when the Sun reaches 0º Aries, as nature’s growth is springing forth, much like the personality of individuals born at this time.
The Summer Solstice is a time of abundance in nature. Those born after the Sun reaches 90º or 0º of Cancer are care giving types who always want to feed and nurture you.
Each of the 12-personality signs group humanity into similarities much like culture, tradition or nationality would.
Your “sign” as it is most commonly referred to is only the position of the Sun on the day of your birth.
Except for the Sun, all the planets have different orbiting cycles, meaning they won’t be in the same place every year, so not everyone has the same placements if born on the same day but a different year.
If you were born on the same day and same time but in a different place from someone else there would be differences between your birth charts because of the angle of longitude and latitude.
If you were born on the same day and in the same place but at a different time than someone else there will be differences between your birth charts because of the angle of the Sun and horizon at the time of day you were born.
The time of day at which you were born is the most important ingredient because it fixes the horizon lines. From the time we derive the “Rising Sign” of the horizon which changes every 2 hours.
The horizon lines are placed over the mapping of the solar system and cut the circle into another 12 pie-piece structure which we call houses. Each of the 12 houses plays a specific role in the life.
For example one house is money another is health and another would be relationship, etc. etc. So it is where the solar system and zodiac falls into these boundaries that will intricately describe the human condition for the person.
Western Astrology
All western astrologers use the 8 planets that play specific roles in regard to body, mind and spirit and the Sun and Moon, or “lights” which describe the parental conditioning.
In my practice, I include 7 asteroids; 1 comet-like planet and 3 planets we are waiting to discover. As science evolves and humans learn more and more about the space we live in astrology also evolves. New discoveries are incorporated into intuitive understandings compiled from documented observations.
Not only the placements, but their geometrical interaction is important in the interpretation.
That is the angles between the planets that define their relationship to each other and give the astrologer an understanding of how the person will use the planetary skills.
The Planets Role in Astrology
For example the planets that rule the mind can be identified and defined combined with the sections of the chart that likewise rule the mind giving the astrologer specifics. Any other planets forming a geometric angle to the mind planets give further characteristics.
How you think has much to do with what you create with your life choices. But this too is predestined to facilitate the growth of the soul.
The planets and sections of the circle that represent the spirit or soul reveal the soul’s lessons, karmic condition and purpose. The past lives that are most relevant to your present life lessons are very clearly defined.
The self-development issues that come after extensive work has been done on one’s self through other means or through the processing of maturity can easily be identified. The path of least resistance most habitual to the soul and its’ repetitive patterns are clarified.
The health infirmities of the body, being the container of spirit, are specific to the soul, and the mind. I feel it is very important to understand the health issues that are most relevant to your life quest.
These are revealed in the birth map and can be further diagnosed through subsequent updated maps for your current age and year. As my focus is on preventative health I prepare charts to enable me to look up to 12 years in the future to prepare you for all eventualities. By changing your attitude, diet and lifestyle you can not only circumvent health issues but also earn karmic grace.
The character or personality your are birthed with for this incarnation is represented in the chart as the lens for the mind’s eye through which you view all of life.
The personality is also the caregiver of the physical body and vehicle for the soul’s purpose. How you relate to life sets up what kinds of relationship you are likely to experience. Every condition separately and cooperatively supports the purpose of the soul.
If this sounds like the three, body, mind and spirit; can exist separately with no equanimity between them, this is true. Is it not clear within your own life that an inner dichotomy, a polarity of push and pull, can twist you around in circles in the process of blending or merging the various facets of being?
But there is always a common goal in all of our diverse parts, and a balance that the soul as spirit is here to achieve. That is the goal of an astrological session.
Astrology is a science that truly validates the individual with all of its’ idiosyncrasies and conflicting character traits.
Not only will your life circumstances, parental condition, predisposition to health, children or relationship be revealed plus all other facets of experience, but prior life circumstances that are most relevant to this reincarnational purpose will also be dimensionally extracted from the chart.
Haven’t you sometimes wondered why you do the things you do? By coming to understand all the parts of yourself the mystery becomes an intention.
We create our destiny by our thoughts, words, actions, predisposition and conditioning. What we put out into the world creates the things we get back from the world. Once we understand how we do this we can create more magic in our lives.
